Saxophonist - Educator - Composer

A native of Maryland, Hannah Wynne is a saxophonist who cut her teeth in the Philadelphia jazz scene, and has since returned home to make waves in her hometown.

 

She's earned a Master’s Degree of Music at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She has studied with saxophonists Chris Farr, Ron Kerber, Tony Salicandro, and Larry McKenna. While attending UArts, Hannah performed in the ground breaking, all-female group, Femme, as well as the UArts graduate ensemble.

 

Hannah graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor's degree in jazz studies under the tutelage of internationally renowned saxophonist, Chris Vadala. She also studied with renowned DMV jazz educator, Paul Carr.


As well as pursuing a career in jazz, Hannah has a deep love for storytelling, and composes for media.
